No Touch Laser
NO-TOUCH LASER (CONTACTLESS EYE LASER)
With the no-touch laser, we can treat myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism without touching the eye, without contact.
Since the no-touch laser procedure is performed without contact, it is not considered surgery.
NO-TOUCH LASER APPLICATION
No-touch laser treatment begins with the instillation of anaesthetic drops for the eye, and the patient feels no pain during the application.
During the treatment:
No device comes into contact with the eye
Only the laser beams reach the eye
The patient simply looks at the green light emitted by the laser device
Both eyes are treated in the same session
The procedure takes 50–60 seconds on average.
Why No Touch Laser?
Treatment is carried out without contact between the eye and the device
Both eyes are treated in one session
Suitable for patients with thin corneas
Effective for myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism
No incision → minimal dry eye risk after the procedure
Can be used even for high prescriptions, depending on the patient’s eye structure
How does the healing process work?
After the treatment, the eyes do not need to be closed
The patient can be discharged with open eyes
UV-protected sunglasses should be worn
For 36 hours, symptoms such as burning, redness, light sensitivity, discomfort, and blurry near vision may occur
Computer work is possible on day 4
Driving is allowed on day 7
Full recovery takes about 1 month
After no-touch laser treatment:
